This “threesome” did not quite turn out the way Loki had envisioned it.

At first Loki was humiliated and disgruntled. However, he was not one to remain such a way for eternity. He decided he would turn the tables on the other two who mocked him. He would make them sorry for watching the sight before them by using Mjolnir for a bit of play. 

He knew Thor would not be able to wield Mjolnir the same way again, knowing where it had been and how it was used for his own brother’s self-satisfaction. That was the price he paid for trying to humiliate Loki.
