“A skinwalker. I do not believe I have encountered such before but I am aware of what they are. Such a strange gift to bestow upon one when there are so many other things that may be offered,” Loki said.
“Well, I like it. It’s a way of protecting myself. Besides, I wouldn’t know what else to ask for.”
“Well, so much could be afforded. Faster healing, inhuman strength, the ability to run inhumanly fast, changing one’s appearance to mimic another’s, so many things,” Loki said. “Then again, much typically requires the consumption of a potion or two to be accomplished and some potions could take months to create.”
“Yes, I suppose those would come in handy, but I can’t just ask for such abilities, I have to earn them. And as you said, potions don’t just pop up out of nowhere. I would certainly have to wait a while.”
“Well then, find some way to earn it if you wish for it. Chances are you could be working to earn such feats while they are being made available.” Loki shrugged a little. He couldn’t recall a time he’d given a mortal some ability, there was never a need to. But he could recall times where it was considered. He speculated this alternate self of his was far different.
Hes cocked her head to one side. “Is that so? And what would you suggest I do to earn what I want?”
“You make a deal with one who is capable of giving such things. Know what they want and if it is something you can provide, a deal would not be too difficult,” he said. “This twin likely gave you your current ability for a reason. Learn what that reason was. I do suspect ‘tis for he finds value in your existence.”
