He shifted in his seat a bit, finding a position for his arms holding the magazine to get comfortable as he read the first paragraph of the column, almost 5 sentences yet managed to dominate half the column’s height due to it’s narrowness. He smiled a bit, not entirely absorbing what he was reading as he could see Astrid in his peripheral vision. He had to re-read the same paragraph twice before moving on to the next.

Despite the extreme proximity and having a hand on a woman’s stomach, he was surprisingly calm. As he started to continue reading his magazine article, he let his hand circle over her stomach once before sliding it down to her inner thigh, giving the soft muscles a gentle squeeze.
